Exciting News and Big Ideas

I was very excited today to tell everyone about this year’s Bazaar summer garden party in the beautiful Sussex Prairie Gardens, after enjoying it so much when I met up with my dear friend Marian at last year’s event.
It’s always a fabulous occasion, but extra special this year, because Jo has agreed to host a Slow-Stitching Corner, where we can all get together and spend some time stitching in the sunshine.
It will be free to attend, all supplies will be provided and there will be plenty of Bazaar’s famous Indian scrap bundles for us to play with.
I also revealed my Big Idea for a project we can all work on together - a Bonkers Quilt!! If you can’t join us in person, you can still participate by sending your piece to me to add to the quilt on your behalf.

I’m really hoping that lots of people will like this idea and want to join in, and it would be lovely to meet up with some more community members in person, as well as hopefully encouraging some more people to try slow-stitching.
If you would like to join us, it’s free to come along for the day, but you’ll need to book. There’s also the option to stay for the evening entertainment, with or without a delicious Thali supper cooked by Alex, and there is a charge for that, but it’s worth every penny! Here’s a link -
