It feels like there is light at the end of the tunnel now, even though it’s still a loooooong tunnel! The process of adding scraps and doodads, stitching, couching, and weaving, to secure and blend all the pieces together can’t be rushed. It’s very painstaking but enjoyable and it’s so rewarding to see it all coming together.
I’ve also started to look into the best way to auction the quilt for charity, and think of ways we might be able to promote it and give people a chance to see it in person if they’d like to.
