Bonkers Postbag and a lost piece!

Good and bad news to share today - a whole pile of fabulous pieces for the quilt from Debs here in the UK, but sadly, the piece that Pat sent from the US got separated from the envelope during its journey.
Debs made loads of pieces, really fun little scenes featuring birds, houses, flowers, trees and landscapes, very colourful with lots of stitched details and sparkles.
Pat sent a photo of the piece she had made before she sent it - it features a cute little cat with tiny mice playing around him, and one little tail coming out of his mouth. It’s so sweet, with lots of stitches giving it a lovely texture. I’m brewing an idea about how I might be able to recreate it - so all is not necessarily lost, watch this space …
